The latest grain/malt/hop/yeast concoction is a dark one.
Northern Brewers 'Black IPA'. Which as they say, is...'an ebony brew with a beige head that is surrounded by an aromatic citrus-and-pine force field, backed by a smooth roastiness redolent of cocoa and French roast coffee'. The yeasties are nearly done their first round of fermentation; at which point the whole lot will be siphoned into the secondary fermenter. The final product should pack a hoppy punch, just the way we like it.
Nice lookin winter whitetail
